Peel Police - Coyotes Sighted in South Mississauga

MsgaPeel Regional Police would like to alert the public regarding recent coyote sightings in Mississauga.

This afternoon, several members of the public flagged down officers to report seeing two coyotes in the dry creek bed area near Council Ring Road, just east of Glen Erin Drive.

Citizens are reminded that coyotes can become aggressive if they are habituated through intentional or unintentional feeding.  Anyone who observes a coyote is urged to contact police or Mississauga Animal Control at 905-896-5858 during business hours or 905-615-3000 after hours.  You can find more information about coyotes at the City of Mississauga website by clicking here.
