Mississauga – Officers from 21 Division arrest a male in relation to a gun-point robbery in Mississauga.
The suspect in this incident posed as a potential buyer of an electronic device the victim was selling on an online buy and sell site.
On Saturday, February 20, 2016 the 21 year old male victim and the suspect attended a pre-arranged location in the area of Airport Rd. and Slough St. in the City of Mississauga for the transaction. The accused, who was in a vehicle, pointed a firearm at the victim demanding he get into the vehicle and turn over the electronic device.
Harmen AUJLA, a 19 year old male from Brampton, was arrested on Saturday, February 20, 2016 and a loaded 9mm Handgun was recovered. Harmen AUJLA has been charged with Robbery, Forcible Confinement and various firearm related offences. Harmen AUJLA was held for a bail hearing on Sunday, Februrary 21, 2016 at the Ontario Court of Justice Brampton.
