Peel Police - Decommissioned Peel Police Robot Donated to Peel District School Board

Brampton – Peel Regional Police have recently purchased a new Explosives Disposal Unit robot and with the assistance of ICOR Technology, will donate a decommissioned, former Peel Police robot to the Peel District School Board, for use at Central Peel Secondary School’s Robotics Program.

On Tuesday February 9, 2016 at 9:40 a.m., a demonstration of the robot, and the official donation of the robot to the Peel District School Board will take place. Members of the media are invited to attend the demonstration and donation. Representatives from the various stakeholders will be present for interviews.
