Peel Police - Investigators from Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau Seek Public’s Assistance

Brampton – Investigators from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in Peel’s Fourth homicide which has claimed the life of a 19 year-old Mississauga man.

On Saturday March 5, 2016, at approximately 2:12 p.m., Peel Regional Police responded to a residence located on Harrowsmith Drive in Mississauga for a report of an unconscious male who had been stabbed. Officers arrived on scene and located the male with obvious signs of trauma. He was rushed to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. An altercation had occurred prior to this on Webb Drive in Mississauga.

The victim is 19 year-old Hamza LAMADANI, a resident of Mississauga.

A warrant is being sought for 19 year-old Mohamed NASR of Mississauga for the charge of First Degree Murder. NASR is described as male, middle-eastern, 5’10 feet tall, medium build wearing a dark grey hooded shirt.

NASR should be considered armed and dangerous, and should not be approached.  If anyone comes into contact with him, or knows of his whereabouts, they should contact police immediately.

Investigators would like to speak to witnesses who were in the area of Webb Drive in Mississauga at the time of the murder.
