Brampton – Investigators from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau continue to investigate a stabbing which has claimed the life of a 19 year-old Mississauga man.
On Saturday March 5, 2016, at approximately 2:12 p.m., Peel Regional Police responded to a residence located on Harrowsmith Drive in Mississauga for a report of an unconscious male who had been stabbed. Officers arrived on scene and located the male with obvious signs of trauma. He was rushed to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. An altercation had occurred prior to this on Webb Drive in Mississauga.
The victim is 19 year-old Hamza LAMADANI, a resident of Mississauga.
On Sunday, March 6, 2016, Mohamed NASR a 19 year-old man from Mississauga, turned himself into police and will be charged with the murder of Hamza LAMADANI. Mohamed NASR is being held and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Monday March 7, 2016 for a remand hearing.
