Peel Police - Investigators Seeking Public’s Help In Identifying Stabbing Suspects

Mississauga - Investigators from the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects in a Mississauga stabbing incident. 

On Sunday, March 20, 2016 before 11:40 a.m., the victim was walking his dog in the area of Britannia Road near Joseph Street in Mississauga.  Upon entering a footpath to Riverview Park, he encountered a man and woman who were walking together. A verbal altercation followed between the victim and the male suspect, which resulted in the male suspect stabbing the victim in the abdomen.  The suspects then fled the area on foot.

The victim was transported to local Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Suspect #1 is described as male, Asian, 5’2”, slim build, with short, black hair, wearing a dark coat or hoodie and a black toque.

Suspect #2 is described as female, Asian, 5’0”, slim build, wearing a dark coat or hoodie.

Police are reminding the public to report any suspicious activity. If these suspects are seen, please do not approach, call police immediately.
