Peel Police - Male Arrested in Attempt Murder

Brampton – Investigators from 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have arrested a man in relation to an attempt murder.

On Wednesday, January 6, 2015 at 9:51 p.m., police responded to an emergency call at a business premise on Ironbridge Road in Brampton.  A 46 year-old male was located on the premise with injuries as a result of having been stabbed.

The victim, a Brampton man, was transported to a Toronto Trauma Centre where he remains in critical condition.  A second male sustained minor injuries that were treated at the scene.

Stephan CAMPBELL, a 48 year-old man from Milton, was arrested on January 6, 2016.  Stephan CAMPBELL has been charged with Attempted Murder, Assault with a Weapon and Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose. CAMPBELL was held for a bail hearing on January 7, 2016 at the Ontario Court of Justice, Brampton.
