Crime Stoppers - Mississauga Crime of the Week

April 19, 2007

 

The Peel Regional Police Central Robbery Bureau is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man wanted for the robbery of a CIBC bank, located on Dundas Street East in Mississauga.

 

On Wednesday, April 11th, 2007 at approximately 1:10 p.m., the lone suspect entered the bank and joined the customer line for teller service. The suspect approached the victim's wicket and passed her a note, which demanded cash.  The suspect received an undisclosed amount of money and then left the bank. He was last seen walking northbound.

                                                                               

The suspect is described as male, white, 25 years of age, and approximately 5’3” tall with a slim build. He was clean shaven and was wearing a ¾ length dark blue puffy jacket and blue wool hat.
