Crime Stoppers - Brampton Crime of the Week

The gun – point robbery of a Brampton convenience store clerk has Peel Crime Stoppers and the Central Robbery Bureau seeking the public’s help in tracking down the suspect.
On April 14, 2007, just before 10:00 in the evening, a man entered the Hasty Market on Kings Cross Road. After engaging the clerk in friendly conversation, the suspect produced a grey pistol and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect placed a small quantity of cash and Brampton Transit tickets were placed in a blue back pack and fled the store.
The suspect has been described as male black, 25 – 30 years of age, 5’ 8” tall, weighing 180 pounds with a Jamaican accent. He was wearing a light blue jacket with a hood pulled over his head, and a blue and grey bandana covering his face.
