Crime Stoppers - Mississauga Crime of the Week
May 17, 2007
A number of public institutions in Mississauga have been spray painted with disturbing graffiti and Peel Crime Stoppers is asking for the public to help put an end to this crime.
Over the past several weeks, the buildings in the area of Lakeshore Road and Dixie Road have been “tagged” with white spray paint. The Toronto French School on Meredith Avenue, Queen of Heaven School on Alexandra Avenue, and the Lakeshore Library on Atwater Avenue have all been victims of the mischief. The French School and the Library have been spray painted on several occasions.
The nature of the words and symbols painted on the buildings could be upsetting to some religious or cultural groups.
