Crime Stoppers - Brampton Crime of the Week

 ELDERLY BRAMPTON WOMAN ROBBED 

 

A 77 year-old Brampton woman was robbed while walking along the street and Peel Crime Stoppers is waiting for your call to help identify the thugs responsible for this cowardly act.

 

On Wednesday May 30, 2007 at around 9:35 in the evening, the victim was walking along Crawford Drive, in the Queen Street and Kennedy Road area of Brampton. She was approached from behind by a male, who punched her in the face and violently stole her purse. The male immediately fled the area by jumping into a green sedan-type vehicle.

 

Although the victim was unable to provide a description of the suspect, a witness was able to provide the following description:

 

Male, white, 18 – 20 years of age, 5’10” – 6’ tall, medium build wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.

 

The 77 year-old female victim sustained a black eye and facial swelling.
