Crime Stoppers - Brampton Crime of the Week

March 23, 2007

Peel Crime Stoppers is looking for your help in solving a car – jacking in Brampton, and finding the whereabouts of the victim’s vehicle.

On Monday, March 19, 2007 at around 6:30 p.m., the victim returned to his residence on Oban Road. He exited his vehicle to remove a cardboard box that was blocking the driveway. He was immediately approached by a man who had been hanging around the area at the time. This suspect sprayed the victim in the face, with what investigators believe was pepper spray. The suspect jumped into the vehicle and left.

The suspect is described as male black, 25 years of age, 5’ 10”, weighing 175 pounds, dark complexion with very white teeth and a flat face. He was wearing a dark coloured parka with a fur-trimmed hood, grey or green pants, white shoes and was wearing headphones.
