Required Physical and Written Tests

 

All applicants must successfully complete an Analytical Reasoning Test, Intellectual Reasoning Test and the Physical Tests (P.R.E.P.) before their application will move forward in the hiring process.

 

All applicants must be prepared to complete the written tests and the P.R.E.P. test on the same day.  Applicants not prepared to complete all tests on the same day, will not be permitted to complete any test and will be required to reschedule their testing to another date.

 

Physical Testing:

 

Peel Regional Police now accepts the Physical Readiness Evaluation for Police Test (P.R.E.P.).  Applicants with the valid P.R.E.P. test results profile from A.T.S., will be required to complete only the written portion of the Peel Regional Police testing.

 

Applicants will be required to produce a copy of their original certificate of results on the day of testing.  Applicants not in possession of their P.R.E.P. results will be required to complete the written tests and the P.R.E.P. test on the day of testing.

 

If you will be participating in the physical test and are 40 years of age or older, or have been diagnosed with high blood pressure, provide a completed copy of the PARmed-X form, printed from our website.  This form must be signed by a physician.

 

Practice Physical Tests:  Peel Regional Police will be conducting FREE practice physical testing for the P.R.E.P. test.  Please come appropriately attired and prepared to actively participate.
