Robbery Suspects Sought in McDonald’s Robbery
Peel Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects wanted in a brazen daytime robbery of a McDonald’s employee.
On Monday, June 1, 2009 at approximately 9:45 a.m., the manager of the McDonald’s located at 30 Brisdale Drive in Brampton, made his way to his car with the previous day’s deposits in a container. As the manager sat in his car to leave, he was immediately approached from the rear by a male suspect who opened the driver’s door and grabbed the container containing the deposits. A struggle ensued between the manager and the suspect and the suspect eventually made off with the container, southbound through the parking lot, crossing over Bovaird Drive and jumping a soundproof barrier that led into a residential area.
Another male suspect was observed standing close to Bovaird when the robbery happened and joined the first suspect when he jumped the soundproof barrier.
The first suspect is described as: male, black, pockmarked face (bad complexion), 18-25 yrs, 5’7” – 5’10”, wearing a black hoodie and jeans.
The second suspect is only described as: male, black.
