MISSING FEMALE FROM BRAMPTON
Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing woman from Brampton.
On Thursday, February 5, 2009, at 9:00 a.m., 27 year-old Poonam LITT left her family residence, in the area of Bramalea Road and Bovaird Drive East. Her intended destination was her place of employment, which is located in the area of Torbram Road and Bovaird Drive East. Mrs. Litt never arrived at work and her whereabouts are still unknown.
Mrs. Litt has no vehicle and normally walks to work. Investigators are concerned for Mrs. Litt’s wellbeing, as an absence this lengthy is extremely out of character.
Poonam LITT is described as a South Asian female, 5’4” tall, 130 lbs., with brown eyes and black shoulder-length hair. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a black coat and blue jeans.

Mrs. LITT’s family has provided officers with video footage of her and it has been posted on You Tube. Members of the public are encouraged to watch this video and report any information they may have regarding the whereabouts of Mrs. LITT.
