CASH STOLEN IN DELI BREAK-IN
A Mississauga Meat and Deli Shop was broken into over the weekend, and the investigators from the 12 Division Break and Enter Unit are asking the public to call Crime Stoppers to help lead them to the thieves.
During the early morning hours of Sunday April 13, 2008, suspects entered Eddie’s Meat and Deli on Dundas Street East through a rear door. They accessed the office area of the shop, and removed a large quantity of cash, in both Canadian and American currencies, from the safe. The suspects most likely left the premise through the same rear door.
The investigation has revealed that the break–in occurred within a very short period of time, between 5:38 a.m. and 6:08 a.m. on that Sunday morning. Anyone who may have been in the area of the shop, or the nearby industrial strip plazas, is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers and allow your anonymous tip to assist in solving this crime.
