Crime of the Week - Mississauga

MASKED GUNMAN ROBS GAS STATION CLERK

 


The employee of a Mississauga gas station was robbed at gunpoint, and the Central Robbery Bureau is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect.

 

On Friday February 22, 2008 at about 11:40 in the evening, the lone suspect entered the Shell gas station in the area of Hurontario Street and Fairview Road. He raised a black handgun, pointed it at the male victim and made a demand for money. The suspect removed a small quantity of money from the cash register and left the store running eastbound on Fairview Road.

 

The suspect has been described as male, white, between 5’ 10” and 6’ tall with a slim build. He was wearing a blue long-sleeved shirt with a white trim and possibly white bleach spots on the back of the shirt. The shirt may have been slightly torn near the back of the neck. The suspect also wore black pants and white running shoes, and had a black balaclava covering his face.
