The crime prevention experts at Peel Regional Police routinely offer a one day seminar on Internet Safety for Peel citizens. The seminar will cover three relevant areas and will teach parents, educators and other professionals how to minimize the risks of cyber-bullying, using social media and on-line luring. Space is limited, on a first-come/first-served basis and is free of charge.
At the session you will learn about:
- Social Media; Facebook/My Space, location based functions, privacy concerns.
- "...at the click of a mouse..." cyber-bullying using digital mediums.
- "Do You Know Where Your Children Are?" Can you trust the internet? How cyber-paedophiles target/identify/track young victims on-line. ...and much more.

Due to some of the subject matter, this seminar is available only to those who are eighteen years of age or older. Only registered guests will be permitted to attend.
